Here is your daily dosage of “Don’t judge a book by its cover!” IT Central Station, a company you have never heard of and with a name that, as a marketer, causes me physical pain, is one of the most impressive companies I have met in a while.

If I am simplifying their pitch, I will say quote the Wall St Journal and say that IT Central Station, is “The Yelp for Enterprise tech”, but we are getting ahead of ourselves here. I had known Russell, the CEO and Co-Founder for many years and from many different directions. Then we finally had the chance to meet and while I had previously heard about the company and its success, when hearing about it in detail from Russell himself, I was deeply impressed.

They only raised $250,000 in external capital, which, in today’s market, is basically no money. Over 30 employees worldwide, with offices in NYC and in Israel, and the company is profitable since the beginning of 2015.

Let me ask you a question. How is it, that when we go to a restaurant, we check reviews first, when we go to a movie, we read reviews first, and when we go to a hotel, we read reviews first, but when an enterprise company buys its tech, a $3.8 trillion annual market by the way, companies still depend on old school sources of information, and not reviews from other companies who have used that tech? I will wait for your answer… Nothing? Ok.

Meet IT Central Station. That is the answer. Enjoy the interview!
