Pandora has announced that it has come out with a version of their live streaming music software for Windows Mobile. This is an interesting move to make a Windows Mobile version before a Symbian. Thats all for now.

A few days ago Hillel posted about the new Apple headphones, and we got many people responding to his blog post. One of the responses was a post by a gentleman named Brian. Here is his comment:

Sorry, this is complete FUD. Just as Roger noted above, check out the various other in-ear buds out there and you’ll find they are all above $79. Anything less than that is in another class of quality.Why are you blaming Apple for this? I guess the secret is out. Apple is working with vendors to price fix all ear bud systems, oh wait, they weren’t the first out with these….
Please, remove the bullseye from Apple and let’s get some real facts in here before you spread more FUD.
I am going to leave all comments regarding the content of the post aside and focus on who is posting. I believe the person who posted this comment is a representative of the Apple corporation. If you look at the IP address, it tracks back to Apple Inc. If this is so, I am very disappointed with Brian’s unwillingness to tell us who he represents. It is truly unacceptable for Apple to be doing this.
Using tactics of Guerrilla marketing are often times necessary, but it needs to be done correctly:
Brian had some very big beginner’s mistakes:
1. Mask your freakin IP address! Come on everyone know that WordPress tracks your IP.
2. Don’t use terminology that only people from the industry use, like FUD . The Average Joe has no idea what FUD means.
3. Only use Guerrilla marketing when necessary – we are just some guys writing a blog about interesting stuff we come across and we write how we feel about it. DUDE, we are not your make it or break it point. Thanks for taking interest in us but look elsewhere.
I hope you own up to your comment and provide an explanation. Again, this is not about the content of the blog post or the comment (which is quite nasty) but rather about Brian and who he represents.

Alright, before I start I just want to make it very clear that I care much about the environment and I try to recycle as much as I can. We just got a recycling bin near our house so I will start sending my bottles in, but I will NOT start recycling my elephant poo. Yes, that is correct a company called The Great Elephant Poo Paper has begun making products from elephant stool. I really couldn’t believe it when I saw the site, but its for real. You can buy a whole bunch of products from the site that is made out of recycled elephant crap. I just want to leave off my saying, “to each his own”

Gmail Mobile Application
I want to share my experience with the new Gmail mobile application. I installed it on my Nokia e71 about 2 weeks ago and I think it’s a really great application if you are a Gmail user. This application allows you to read and write your emails without accessing your mobile browser, which forces you to be online at all times. With the Gmail app, you can write emails even when offline. Besides, 3G is costly and then there’s the coverage issue.
The look and feel is very much the same as the Gmail mobile web page, the menus are up to par with the look and feel of any touch screen device.
If you remember, Google introduced a Gmail desktop app with the announcement of Crome. That basically does a similar thing, a desktop application for Gmail, although you have to be online and there are no extra features.
The Gmail app doesn’t have IM capability to power your Google talk but there are other applications that keep us connected on mobile phones. There is always the next version

Citrix on an iPhone?? Amazing
It’s really cool that Citrix is developing software to enable you to run your PC off an iPhone.
It would make my life at Payoneer easier because all the Payoneer programs run on PC. Having the access to all work programs on both platforms would really make the iPhone into a true business tool. Then maybe we would convince Payoneer to get us iPhones, oh yah I forgot you need to live in Botswana or Kenya to get an iPhone not Tel Aviv.
Hillel posted about the HTC Touch HD and it personally doesn’t do anything for me, for 2 reasons:
1. It runs Windows Mobile – big down side
2. Its all about apps! The development of apps is where it is at today and the iPhone is clearly winning by miles.

Remember The Milk
How many times have you forgotten to buy milk? RTM is a really nice, easy to use task reminder/ fully integrated to do list. All the regular functions are included like due date, importance, groups etc. They also use Google Gears so that you have full offline access to the account. Location based tasks are very useful also. You can set where the task needs to get done using Google Maps or GPS. They just came out with an iPhone app which is really nice because it syncs with the Web app. The sync is really great because Steve Jobs decided to leave out a todo list or tasks function from the iPhone. I have no idea why this feature was left out, most smart phones have active sync which allows them to sync all Microsoft Exchange items including tasks.
The reall beauty lies in their integration with other platforms like iGoogle, Google Calendar, Twitter, Gmail, Blackberry and so many more. With there API they have been able to do some really neat stuff.
So a little about the Twitter integration, all you need to do is to follow RTM on Twitter and they provide a verification code to Identify you. Once that is set up all you need to do is to direct message RTM a task like ” meeting tomorrow with Steve at 7am” and it will automatically add the task to RTM and it works like a charm.
