If you are new here, I have been summarizing all the content I write throughout the week in one weekly post called Above the Fuld (as in Above the Fold but since my last name is Fuld…)

The New Facebook is a No-Brainer, If Zuckerberg Wants to Rule the Interwebs!
I wasn’t always such as a geek. In fact, my true geekiness started at a pretty advanced age. I still remember going to camp as a teenager and everyone giving each other their email addresses on the last day. I did not have an email address yet. Same goes for IM. My friends can testify that when people had been using IM for years, I was just beginning to be fascinated by the concept that I can send someone a message across the world in a matter of a split second.
Above the Fuld: This Week’s Tech News (September 11th-18th)
If you have been paying attention, you have probably noticed that I have been using this blog to write summaries of all the posts I write on other sites. I will also continue to conduct interviews on this site and I have a few seriously awesome ones lined up. Think Foursquare, the Wall Street Journal, and Mashable…
An Interview with Tim Stevens, Editor in Chief of Engadget about Toys, iPhone 5, and Mike Arrington/AOL
I am frustrated and let me tell you why. I have noticed a strong trend in the world of tech blogging in which some leading names spend most of their time fighting over who broke what story. Many of these leading technology journalists, who in many cases, I have a lot of professional respect for, do not engage their audience on Twitter, are inaccessible to anyone with less than 100k followers, and then participate in petty and childish competition with other bloggers.
Above the Fuld: This Week’s Tech News (September 5th-11th)
If you have been busy over the past week and might have missed some tech news, you can get your fix right here. Most of the past week’s stories can be found in the links below.
Above the Fuld (August 29th- Septemper 4th)
It is that time of the week again, time to summarize the tech events we heard about over the past few days. Just in case you were wondering, the title is not a typo. The idea obviously came from the phrase Above the Fold, which you can read about here, and was adapted to my last name, Fuld. Cute, I know. It was actually not my idea, I crowd sourced it on Google+, but I do love it. Anyway, I hope you enjoy these weekly posts, they are fun to put together.
Above the Fuld (August 7th-28th)
Been a few weeks since I posted one of these due to a vacation. All I can say is, what a month to choose for a vacation. This month will definitely go down in the books as one of, if not the, craziest months in tech ever. Where do we start? I think I summed it up pretty well in this tweet from last week. Everyone who is anyone in tech had something to announce this month. Google, Facebook, HP, Motorola, Apple, Amazon, and Linkedin are just some of the companies that made some noise over the past month.
Why 9/10 People Would Prefer the BlackBerry Playbook over the iPad
Let me start off by saying that i have been testing the BlackBerry Playbook for over a month now, gathering my thoughts, jotting down some points, and waiting till all my impressions were gathered and formulated. No, I was not waiting for Steve Jobs to resign to write my review of the Playbook and include such a blatantly anti-Apple title as you see above. The truth is I do not doubt the superiority of the iPad as a tablet computer or its affect on the dominance the Apple tablet now displays in this new tablet market. I do not believe the Playbook will ever outsell the iPad or even come close to it.
Above the Fuld: This Week’s Tech in 30 Seconds (Aug 1st- 7th)
It is that time of the week again. If you did not see last week’s post, you can read about it here to understand what this weekly posts are about. This week there was some super interesting news in the tech space such a new iPhone Twitter app that puts all others to shame. Speaking of Shame, Amazon, assuming this story is true about the company’s appstore, should be ashamed of themselves. You can read all about it below and more.
Above the Fuld: This Week’s Tech in 30 Seconds
I recently had a thought. While I spend most of my week writing articles about tech, social media, and mobile advertising, only a minority of my social graph sees all the posts. I tweet and share the posts but if you are not on Twitter, FB, or Google+ when I share it, chances are you will miss the article. I have been trying to figure out a way to ensure that my content does not disappear into the black hole, otherwise known as the internet, and have yet to come up with the perfect solution.
Nine Drastic Changes the Mobile Industry Will Undergo Within Three Years
We are constantly reading about how fast mobile technology is progressing and how far we’ve come from the days depicted in the photo below. While it is true that the mobile phone has had a more significant effect on our lives than many other advancements the world has made, in simple terms I will say “We aint seen nothin yet”.
