It has been quite an interesting last few weeks/months. If you reading this, I guess you are somewhat familiar with my work and what I do with Israeli startups on a daily basis. If not, this sums it up pretty well. Because of the type of work that I do, when I announced a while back that I am leaving Inneractive, there were a few interesting offers. Again, not because I am a rockstar, just because I make a hell of a lotta noise and let’s be honest, that’s a big part of what startups and tech companies in general, need.

Why Everything You Think about Google+ (and Social, in General) is Wrong.
If I had a dime for every person who said to me “Twitter is dumb. I don’t get it and will never join.” or “Google+ is a ghost town, I don’t need another social network and no one is there anyway” or “Facebook is of no value to me or my business”, I would be a very wealthy individual.
After Years of Development, Umoove Finally Provides a Taste of the Future of Mobile
Yesterday, Umoove launched The Umoove Experience. Two questions I get quite often and especially in the last 24 hours are:
What the heck do you do?
What is your connection to Umoove?
Wait, You Genuinely Thought This Was the Best Way to Use Social Media? You Got it All Wrong!
Like many of my posts, this topic may be obvious to some, but unfortunately, based on the literally tens of messages I have personally received this week alone, it is far from obvious to others. Ask yourself why you are using social media. Why are you on Twitter? (You’re not? Then you have other problems you need to work out.) Why have you started using Google+? (You haven’t? See above.) Pinterest? Instagram? Foursquare? Why do you use any of these platforms? Really, ask yourself that question.
One Question you Must Ask Yourself Before Launching Your Startup (Not What You Think!)
Before I begin, let me just clarify something. I have never launched a startup. There, I said it. I have insane amounts of respect for someone who can have an idea, execute on that idea, deal with all the struggles involved in that execution, and last all those years not sleeping, barely eating, until that idea becomes a success.
So You Finally Started a Blog? Awesome. Here are Some Basic/Important Tips No One Told You
I am a huge believer in content. Seriously, no matter what you are trying to accomplish, writing or generating good content for people to consume is generally a good strategy. I am of the opinion that there are very few exceptions to the rule that every human being should have a blog!
And the Top Spot on the List of Most Annoying Things that Happen on the Social Web Goes To…
Over the years, I have ranted quite a bit about different types of behavior that annoy me on the social web. Things like group tagging on Facebook or Twitter, begging for likes or retweets, and others. It was time for another addition to the “Please don’t ever do this on social media. Ever” list.
The Strangest Thing Just Happened to Me. I Finally Got Snapchat! It All Makes Sense Now!
I know, such a dramatic title, but really, this Snapchat phenomenon has been boggling my mind for months. Hold up a second here. I am not talking about Snapchat the business and why Facebook and Google want to buy it for billions. I am not even talking about why Snapchat was actually brilliant to turn those offers down.
My First 24 Hours with the 41 Megapixel Lumia 1020 and Why This Device is Important
If you follow me online, whether on Twitter, Facebook, or Google+ (Don’t go there!), I want to apologize for bombarding you with pictures over the past 24 hours. But, I mean, can you really blame me? I mean, I got the Lumia 1020!
My First Smart Watch, the Pebble is a Total Game-Changer but Not for the Reason you Think!
As you may have noticed, I have been neglecting this blog lately and for that, I apologize. It has been quite crazy lately, but if you are reading these words, you are a loyal follower and I promise to keep writing here often, starting now. Ok, now that we got that outta the way…
Startups: Here is How NOT to Market Yourself on Twitter! (PHOTOS)
There I was, minding my own business, when all of a sudden, I got a tweet from someone I do not know. Of course, getting a tweet from a stranger is fine, I get 500 of them a day. But this one was different. Why? See below.
