I had a whole blog post laid out in my head about Google’s new entry into the TV industry, but then, I tried the new Seesmic iPhone app and that took precedence. This app actually comes at a perfect time since the new official Twitter app was just released, and suffice to say, I am not a fan. Let me back up a little. As a mobile blogger, I try out a lot of phones, and a lot of apps on different platforms. Generally speaking, the iPhone obviously has the most variety, which ultimately means I can find the best apps on iPhone in almost any category.

Want to Avoid Mobile Phone Radiation? There’s Now An App for That!
Among the many topics that surround the tech industry and specifically the mobile space, cellphone radiation is one of the hottest (no pun intended, OK, maybe it was a little intended). We recently read about a new study that was just launched and will be researching the correlation between mobile phone usage and health issues. The study is called COSMOS and is planned to be conducted over the period of three decades.
Adobe Responds to Steve Jobs with Endless Flash on Android Videos
Wow, this is seriously starting to heat up. At first we thought that Apple just left out the Flash technology maybe because of political considerations or maybe technological ones, but there were rumors circulating that that was just temporary. At some point or another, most of us believed Flash would eventually make an appearance on iPhone OS. That all changed when Jobs wrote his famous blog post calling Adobe Flash a technology of the past and saying that it was to closed a platform for the iPhone (oh, the irony).
Top 10 iPad Apps
It’s official. The iPad is a huge success. In its first month on the market, Apple has sold a cool 1,000,000 units. This is an impressive number, given that the device has only been available in the United States, but even more important is the fact that 12 million iPad apps have been downloaded. That’s an average of 12 apps per user in 30 days. With over 5,000 iPad apps to choose from, which apps should you download? Here is my list of the ten best iPad apps.
6 Tips For Writing an Effective Blog Post Title
It’s been around two years since I have been blogging, and over that time, I have learned a lot about myself, my writing style, and my reader’s psychology. I never conducted a scientific study about which blog posts attracted the most readers, but such studies have been done, and when it comes to my blog, there is no need for such a study. The results are obvious and blatant.
A Historic Day for Apple, Palm, HP, & AOL!
I do not remember a day, at least in recent history, in which there were so many game-changing tech announcements. AOL sells ICQ, the first ever instant messaging technology, Apple enters search to compete with Google, and HP buys Palm to compete with Google, Apple, BlackBerry, and any other mobile giant you can think of. All that happened yesterday, and people (myself mainly) do not know which piece of news is most worthy of their attention. So, after conducting a short Twitter survey (screen shot below), I decided to blog about all three… Now, my only challenge is to do it in a blog post that is not something you can bind and sell as a 500 page book, since there is just so much to say about each one of these developments.
Nokia N8 and BlackBerry 6.0 in Action (VIDEOS)
We just discussed the newly announced Nokia N8 flagship device, and as we said, the specs are impressive, the OS a little less. The processor is a little weak by today’s market standards, but everything else seems pretty amazing. Here are some initial videos displaying the N8’s capabilities. What do you think of the device? Does it impress you or leave you wanting more from Nokia?
RIM and Nokia Introduce Some Evolutionary (NOT Revolutionary) Phones
Today’s tech community is somewhat buzzing over new announcements from two of the mobile industry’s leaders; RIM and Nokia. Both companies announced nice phones that will surely sell by the millions, but none of the announced phones are going to shock the mobile market.

One of the big questions on the minds of new Twitter users is “How do I find people to follow?” The question is pretty simple and straight forward, the answer a little less. In reality, there are many resources available to find interesting people to follow on Twitter. These include online directories, such as Wefollow, Twitter lists, people your friends follow, and many more.

10 Ways to Promote a Content Website with Social Media (Guest Post)
There are plenty of articles online about how to promote your business through social media, but there don’t seem to be too many on how to promote a content website with Facebook and Twitter. Of course, some of the advice is relevant to both businesses and content websites but a lot of the ideas for businesses are just not relevant for content sites.
