Exit09 Turns your Idea Into A Business, All Expenses Covered

This is a little different than most of the things I post about, but the big names involved in this opportunity made me want to share it with my readers. Basically,  a company called Exit09 has recently launched a contest for people to present a short demo of an idea that will enhance the Web, and the winner basically has the idea implemented and completely funded. It is really as simple as that. If you look at the names of the companies supporting this initiative, you will understand how serious this contest is.

googleTo just name a few companies, or more like corporations involved in this, the winner, based on people’s votes will receive business planning, start up support, and accountancy services from KPMG. They will also receive one on one SEM training from Google staff, hardware provided by Sun Microsystems, and worldwide introductions by IBM, to just name drop a little.

ibmEntry into this contest cannot be easier, literally. Make a 60 second clip of your idea, which will then be voted on. The contest then advances to the “semi finals”, and to the final stage. All in all, the winner receives a $250,000 prize package with all the goodies mentioned above and an additional $100,000 investment capital.

The bottom line is, you do not need me to tell you how or why this is an amazing opportunity. I think most people have some sort of an idea in the back of their heads, but have no clue how to implement. With this contest, you can transform an idea into a full fledged business, with all expenses covered by some of the biggest names out there. I am pretty sure this is worth 60 seconds of your time.
