A Great Ad for the Electric Nissan Leaf (VIDEO)

There are some ads that use state of the art technology to create an interactive video online. We have seen quite a few examples of this, the last one being the Tipp-Ex ad. Then there are some ads that are just plain awesome and they have absolutely no bells and whistles at all.

This is one of those ads. Can’t put my finger on what makes it so awesome, but I am sure you will agree after watching it, that it hits the spot from a marketing perspective.

  1. What makes it awesome is that you’ve taken a global problem and you’ve given voice to those directly affected despite being thousands of miles away (and being animals). Then you connected them to the average person – and how that person can make real difference.

  2. I think it’s subtly reminding you of that viral video about the guys being reunited with a lion in Africa, remember that one?

    Otherwise, it’s just beautifully filmed.

    I love good ads!

  3. Let’s save the planet by making a polar bear perform and sell cars.I don’t know where to begin with how dumb this ad is.

  4. Responses to this ad will likely be extreme love/ extreme hate and therefore it’s not likely to appeal to large numbers of people.

Those who believe in global warming alarmism will be inclined to like it. Those who do not, will not.

NIssan just immediately excluded 50% or more of the population from potential interest in their car.
