The Most Ridiculous iPhone 5 Concept Video you Will Watch Today

If you’ve been reading my posts or following me on Twitter, you might have noticed that as the launch of the iPhone 5 nears, my enthusiasm for iOS and the iPhone diminishes. You see, I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Note with Jellybean as well as the Nexus 7 with Jellybean. Both are fantastic devices running a polished and intuitive version of Android.

In addition, I have been using my iPhone 4S with iOS 6 (developer version) and like I wrote here, it has some nice new features. The thing is, every day a new video/mockup of the iPhone 5 is released and putting it gently, they all look lame.

While Android is moving forward with better voice search, butter-like responsiveness, and new bells and whistles, Apple is busy trying to figure out how to get another row of apps on the home screen and how to make us all spend money on new docks due to the smaller iPhone charging port. Lame.

No matter how you look at it, a 4″ iPhone, even if it has LTE, is no match for the Note 2 or the S3. Unless, and this is not too far-fetched, Apple has something crazy planned for that “One more thing” moment.

Having used Apple products for years and followed the company closely, I find it hard to believe that Tim Cook will take the stage and say “We made the iPhone bigger and faster but nowhere near as big or fast as the┬ácompetition”. Something tells me we are all in for a surprise.

Meanwhile, I sold my iPhone 4S and I have moved full time over to Android. That can easily change next week if and when Apple does pull something out of its $600 billion sleeve.

For now, enjoy this ridiculous yet mildly entertaining video of someone’s wildest dreams about the iPhone 5. I was convinced till the end…
